Prime Day laptop deals

Prime Day is drawing to a close, and by Saturday morning these deals may well be gone for good!

I’m going to wind down this blog for the night to eat some dinner and stare into the middle distance for a while, but you still have until the end of Friday to snap up what Prime Day laptop deals remain.

To help you find them, I’ve rounded up all the best laptop deals we’ve seen so far in the links below. Between these and the litany of deals you can find in this blog, you should have the best chance of scoring a great deal on a laptop this summer. Good luck!

I love this OLED Windows laptop, and it’s on deep discount for the next few hours

Lenovo Yoga Slim laptop with Tom's Guide Prime Day tag

With just hours left in the big Prime Day sale, I wanted to quickly highlight this sweet deal on a new Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition laptop.

I think Lenovo makes some well-designed and gorgeous laptops and this one is no exception. It sports a lovely 14″ OLED display, a speedy Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for storage.

It’s a great laptop that’s easy on the eyes, and for a few hours more it’s nearly 20% off!

This is the best cheap laptop you can buy, and right now it’s cheaper than ever

Acer Aspire Go 15 review unit on desk

I reviewed the Acer Aspire Go 15 not too long ago and fell in love with this budget Windows 11 laptop because it gives you just what you need in a productivity laptop (and nothing you don’t) for under $300.

It’s a great value that makes this an ideal starter laptop for kids, students and families, because you get a decent 15-inch Windows laptop with a 1080p display, a weak Intel Core i3 CPU, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. And right now it’s cheaper than ever at just $249!

That’s an incredible price that brings this solid Windows laptop down into Chromebook territory. But since this Acer Aspire Go 15 runs Windows 11, you can count on being able to run all your critical apps on it. Heck, you can eve nplay some light games!

Last day to score a MacBook Air M4 for cheap!

MacBook Air M4

With just over 6 hours left until Amazon’s Prime Day in July week-long sale comes to a close, I wanted to remind you that you can still get a MacBook Air M4 for $150+ off for the next few hours!

The M4 Air is one of the best laptops you can buy if you just need a thin and light productivity machine. The M4 chip gives you oodles of power and battery life, and you can get the laptop in either 13″ or 15″ varieties. But act fast if you’re interested, this deal won’t last!

Score one of my favorite 2-in-1 Windows laptops for $300 off

Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro on table with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

I’m a big fan of Samsung’s Galaxy Book Pro 360 laptops because they’re great Windows 2-in-1s that are light, powerful and sport gorgeous AMOLED displays. And for a few more hours, you can save $300 off the latest Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360!

This slick laptop has a 3K (2,880 x 1,800) OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate that can rotate all the way around to lay flat against the back, turning it into a giant tablet. Factor in the included S Pen stylus and you see why I think it’s a great laptop for students, artists and anyone who likes to tap as well as type.

A Windows laptop worth getting

Man using Dell XPS 13

Head to our best laptops guide, and our current pick for the best workday machine is the Dell XPS 13. And if you follow up that visit by heading to Best Buy, you can get that same Dell XPS for $999, a $500 discount off its regular price.

The 13.4-inch CoPilot+ PC has 3K touch screen display, and it’s powered by a Snapdragon X Elite chipset. We like the speedy performance and all-day battery life, but we adore the svelte build that makes it easy to carry this laptop from one meeting to the next.

Snag this discounted RTX 5050 gaming laptop while you can!

HP Omen Transcend 14 (2025)

Amazon’s Prime Day in July sale is nearly over, but there are still some great discounts to be had if you know where to look.

Case in point: HP is still discounting its cutting-edge HP Omen Transcend 14 gaming laptop by $400, making this a great time to buy one for cheap(er). But this killer deal is part of an HP flash sale and there’s no telling how long it will last, so act fast if you want one of these 14″ RTX 5050 gaming laptops with an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage.

This accessory will revolutionize how you work on a laptop, and it’s 25% off today

Lamicall Laptop Stand

I review laptops for a living here at Tom’s Guide, and for my money no laptop accessory is more useful than a good laptop stand.

These things tend to be light, portable and simple to set up. You can throw one in your bag while traveling and save yourself loads of back and neck pain because the stand brings the laptop up closer to eye level, giving you a more ergonomic experience.

And for just a few more hours, you can save 25% off one of the best laptop stands we’ve ever tested!

Final hours to save $150 off a brand-new MacBook Pro M4!

MacBook Pro 14 M4 on table with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

The 14-inch MacBook Pro M4 is a killer laptop for working on the go that has more than enough power for productivity, serious audio/video editing and even gaming thanks to Apple’s M4 chip. And for just a few more hours, you can get over $150 off a brand-new 14″ MacBook Pro M4!

The amount of money you can save depends on which model of Pro you want. Amazon’s two best deals are on the base M4 model and the upgraded version with an M4 Pro chip inside. You save more (over $200!) by splurging on the more powerful model, but I’ve used the latest MacBook Pro and I have to tell you that the base M4 model is plenty powerful enough for most!

Act fast to save over $300 off this RTX 5070 gaming laptop

Asus TUF Gaming A16

I review laptops here at Tom’s Guide, and for my money Nvidia’s RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti offer the best bang for your buck when buying a gaming laptop. And for a limited time, you can score one for over $300 off!

This Asus TUF Gaming A16 packs an AMD Ryzen 9 CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for storage. That’s more than enough for playing the latest and greatest games at good framerates on the 16″ 1200p 165Hz display. Scoop it up while you can!

Today’s the last day to save over $500 on this ultra-light 17″ ultraportable

LG Gram Pro 17

I wrote our LG Gram 17 Pro review, and I really fell in love with it because it’s the lightest 17″ laptop I’ve ever used. I really love having that big of a screen on a laptop, but it often comes with a few extra pounds you have to lug around.

Not so with the 3-pound LG Gram 17 Pro, which sports a big, bright 1600p display, a full, comfy keyboard, plenty of ports and good battery life—all in a surprisingly lightweight and sturdy design that’s roughly 0.7 inches thin.

If I didn’t review laptops for a living I’d be sorely tempted to buy the LG Gram 17 Pro now that it’s over $500 off for Prime Day, but if you’re temped too you better act fast—Prime Day ends today, and so does this killer discount!

Last chance to score this ultra-useful Chrome tablet for a steal!

Lenovo Chromebook Duet on table outside with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

I’m a fan of Lenovo’s Duet line of Chrome tablets because they ship with free detachable keyboards and thus are surprisingly useful little productivity devices.

Admittedly, since these slates run ChromeOS they require a Google account and Internet connection to be used to their full potential. But wi-fi is everywhere these days, and the 2025 Duet is a super-useful tablet for kids, students and families that’s ultra-affordable—especially now that it’s nearly $100 off for Prime Day!

Last chance to grab these RTX 50-series gaming laptops!

HP Omen Max 16

With Prime Day coming to a close, there are only a few hours left to get big savings on the latest RTX 50-series gaming laptops. And let me tell you, these laptops are surprisingly cheap considering they’ve only just arrived this year.

From an RTX 5060 all the way to an RTX 5090, now’s the time to be kind to your wallet and upgrade your gaming setup with the might of Nvidia’s latest GPUs. Have a look through the deals we’ve seen to find your next gaming laptop at an all-time-low price!

Swipe this Acer Swift X 14 OLED creator laptop with an RTX 4060

Acer Swift 14 X on table with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

This is one for the creators out there. The Acer Swift X 14 is a great choice for graphics designers or photo and video editors, all thanks to its 14.5-inch (2880 x 1800) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Along with its RTX 4060 GPU, it’s able to handle graphically intensive tasks, and that even includes gaming.

Better yet, the Acer Swift X 14 is now down to just $1,255. Not bad savings for an OLED laptop with some commendable specs.

This RTX 5060 is still up for grabs with $380 off!

Asus TUF Gaming A18 on table outside with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

My favorite RTX 5060 Alienware 16 Aurora deal may be gone, but this Asus TUF Gaming F16 with an RTX 5060 and other powerful specs is still available for a very low $1,159!

You’re getting a 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate, which is great for Nvidia’s multi-frame gen tech, along with an Intel Core i7-14650HX CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. For a price this low, it’s hard to go wrong with a gaming laptop at this price!

It’s the final hours to get a MacBook Air M4 at a discount!

MacBook Air 13-inch M4 shown on tabletop

Prime Day is on its way out, so if you’re looking to grab one of the best laptops for less right now, the time is now.

Both the 13- and 15-inch M4 MacBook Air models offer exemplary performance for an incredibly good price, now made even cheaper thanks to Prime Day. Grab $150 off your configuration of choice, starting at just $849!

Dell’s latest laptop is already at a record-low price

Dell 14 Plus on table with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

Last time I saw this deal, it was at $949. Well, the Dell 14 Plus has now dropped even further to $849!

It’s part of Dell’s rebrand of its laptop lineup, so you’ll be getting the latest with an Intel Core Ultra 7 chip, a mighty 32GB of DDR5X RAM and a helpful 1TB SSD. Not bad for a strong laptop such as this, especially if you’re a student or need a reliable laptop while on the move.

Yes, there’s a MacBook Air for just $699 right now

macbook air m2

For a low-cost MacBook Air, this anti-Prime Day deal is a winner! Apple Silicon may have a shelf life, but it’s super long. The M2 chip is still a serious performer in 2025, which is what makes this dirt-cheap M2 MacBook Air so attractive!

It’s impressively fast and power-efficient all at once, and you get that same sleek, utilitarian chassis that you get with the M3 and M4 Airs. This is a solid shout-out for a laptop, and it’s $100 off right now.

You don’t want to miss out on this RTX 5080 laptop that’s $1,100 off!

HP Omen Max 16

If you’re just coming in, let me point you in the direction of this RTX 5080 gaming laptop that’s now $1,110 off. No typo there, as the HP Omen Max 16 is now down to $1,567 thanks to HP’s flash sale. This is a powerful machine, but the sale only lasts until the end of the day, so if you’re eyeing it up, jump on it!

It’s the lowest you can currently get for an RTX 5080 laptop, which also sports an Intel Core Ultra i7 255HX CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 16-inch 2K(1920 x 1200) IPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Better yet, you can configure the laptop to your liking before checking out, as the deal applies to all models.

Speaking of checking out, be sure to add the promo code LEVELUP20 to cut that price down!

This unique Windows laptop is impressive, and its $500 off!

Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 review unit on desk

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio 2 is one of the more outstanding laptops I’ve ever reviewed because of its unique sliding touchscreen, and right now you can get one for over $500 off!

As you can see above (and in my Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 review) the 14″ 1600p 120Hz touchscreen can slide down to “tent” over the keyboard, transforming what was a normal-looking laptop into a sort of digital easel.

Digital artists and note-takers may appreciate the easel-like design, but even if you never invest in a stylus you can tent the screen down to bring it closer to you while watching movies.

Admittedly, part of the reason it’s $500 off is because it’s nearly two years old at this point. But Microsoft doesn’t look likely to make a new one anytime soon, and the Intel Core i7 CPU and 16GB of RAM in this model are enough for work, entertainment and even some light gaming.

Not a joke — you can get an RTX 5060 laptop for under £1,000

asus v16

Morning everyone! Clocking in and doing my UK rounds, I nearly spat my coffee out stumbling across this Prime Day deal. This is the first RTX 5060 gaming laptop I’ve seen on sale for under a grand!!!

The Asus V16 is one of the more unknown entries into the company’s gaming lineup, but it brings a lot to the party with a slim, sleek construction, a big 16-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate, Intel Core Ultra 7 240H power, 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD.

If you’ve been looking for the best gaming laptop deal that gives you the biggest bang for your buck, look no further.

Just need a dirt cheap laptop? I’ve got you with this $349 Dell Inspiron

Dell Inspiron 3520

We’re talking about some big discounts on this live blog, but what about if you don’t need all the bells and whistles? What if you just need a dirt cheap portable PC for work and bingewatching? Well, this Dell Inspiron at $349 is your answer!

It’s packing just enough power for running all your key office applications for work and browsing the web with its Intel Core i5-1235U, alongside 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD. Plus that 1080p display up top is smooth and colorful for throwing yourself into the next Netflix series.

This is the cheapest Snapdragon X laptop you can buy right now

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3x

When I tried the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3X a few months ago, I was confident that this could be the budget laptop to beat in 2025 — managing to find the right balance between ergonomics, performance and power efficiency without breaking the bank.

And now, it’s even cheaper with $180 off the list price, which brings this Snapdragon X system down to just $499.

Yep you read that right, Snapdragon. That means snappy single-core performance for opening apps in a zip, and sipping that battery to make it last well over all-day long. Pair that with a big 15.3-inch display, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, and you’ve got a stellar cheap Copilot+ PC!

This massive 18-inch Alienware m18 is $400 off!

Alienware m18

Alienware is a master at creating powerful gaming laptops, and none says that better than its massive 18-inch Alienware m18 model. The good news is that it’s now $400 off for Prime Day, and it comes with a commendable RTX 4070.

It offers an Intel Core i7-14700HX CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD, and its RTX 4070 will take gamers far. We gave it 4.5 stars in our Alienware m18 review, and now that it’s under $2,000, it’s not a bad shout for first-time buyers after a sizeable gaming machine.

Big discount! Snag $500 off this Pro-level LG Gram 17

Lenovo ThinkPad E14

Maybe you’re looking for a new laptop for work this Prime Day. Well, if you are, the ThinkPad E14 Gen 6 is packed with power, and this deal even includes a 100W USB-C docking station from Targus. It has that same iconic ThinkPad look, but this one comes with a whopping 64GB of RAM!

Along with its AMD Ryzen 7 7735U CPU and 1TB SSD, this machine will power through all those Excel sheets without breaking a sweat. In fact, it will handle almost anything you can throw at it.

Samsung’s mighty Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 is $300 off

Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro on table with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

We called the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro the MacBook Pro alternative with a bigger OLED display and a lighter design, so if you’re a fan of Windows, this model should be on your radar, as it’s $300 off.

You’re getting an Intel Core 7 Ultra CPU, a 3K (2,880 x 1,800) OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and even an S Pen thrown in for good measure. For workers on the go and even students, this Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 is a worthy companion.

A Copilot+ AI laptop with an OLED display (now nearly $250 off)

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition

The Lenovo Slim 7i Aura Edition is a great ultraportable that packs a whole lot of power into a slim, sleek and utilitarian package. Seriously premium with an all aluminum shell, featuring a gorgeous 14-inch OLED display, Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD.

Power users, this MacBook Pro M4 deal will save you over $150

MacBook Pro 14 M4 on table with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

I love the MacBook Pro — packing peak performance and shockingly good power efficiency into a sleek, premium aluminum shell that looks ready for work (especially in space black). And right now, the latest and greatest M4 systems are cheaper than ever.

Whether you’re eyeing the base M4, the more capable M4 Pro, or the powerhouse M4 Max, you can now knock at least $150 off the price. As someone who edits video, codes, and occasionally dives into some gaming, I can say the MacBook Pro more than keeps up. It’s a machine built for people who push their gear to the limit—and now it’s finally a bit easier on the wallet too.

Another steep discount on an RTX 5070 Ti laptop!

Asus ROG Strix Scar 18

Right, that RTX 5080 gaming laptop from earlier may be incredibly affordable right now, but this RTX 5070 Ti gaming laptop can handle the heat with its other list of specs. Pricey? Yes, but getting $400 off this beast offers huge value for a gaming PC upgrade.

This Asus ROG Strix G16 with an RTX 5070 Ti is now $400 off, which means you can now grab it for under $2,000. But it also offers the latest (and powerful) Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. Moreover, it boasts a 16-inch 2.5K (‎2560 x 1600) Nebula display with a 240Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio and speedy 3ms response time. Oh, and a MUX switch to boost gaming performance and a way to customize the RAM, SSD and fans without needing a screwdriver.

Now that’s a powerful machine, and for just under $2,000, it’s a gaming laptop you’ll want to check out.

Alert: This is the cheapest RTX 5080 gaming laptop I’ve seen!

HP Omen Max 16 side view on table with Cyberpunk 2077 on display with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

Wait, $1,110 off an RTX 5080 gaming laptop? Right, now that’s a spectacular deal. HP is now offering its HP Omen Max 16 with an RTX 5080 for as low as $1,567 thanks to a limited-time sale that’s running alongside Prime Day, and this is by far the biggest drop I’ve seen on an RTX 50-series machine.

Multiple configurations are available with the discount, but the lowest you can get offers an RTX 5080, Intel Core Ultra i7 255HX CPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, a 512GB SSD and a 16-inch 2K(1920 x 1200) IPS display with a 165Hz refresh rate. This is customizeable before checkout, so the more you want, the more expensive it gets (32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD will take this beast even further).

Either way, this is a massive deal on one of the latest gaming laptops boasting RTX 5080 power, so definitely put this on your radar. Put in the promo code LEVELUP20 to get in on this deal!

Prefer Windows? Grab this MacBook Air alternative for over $250 off

LG Gram on table next to mouse with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

The MacBook Air may be one of the thinnest laptops around, but this LG Gram 14 isn’t far behind it. In fact, it’s actually lighter, and comes with a great discount thanks to Prime Day.

The LG Gram 14 is now over $250 off at Amazon, boasting Copilot+ AI capabilities thanks to its latest Intel Core Ultra 7 255H CPU, along with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. It’s amazingly thin at 0.67 inches (the MacBook Air M4 is 0.44 inches), and is incredibly lightweight at 2.47 pounds (2.7 pounds for the MacBook Air).

As a laptop that can power through multitasking without breaking a sweat in a portable, featherweight design, the LG Gram 14 is a great shout for students and workers on the move.

The best 2-in-1 budget Chromebook is at an all-time low

Lenovo Chromebook Duet on table showing art on display with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

Some of the best Chromebooks are known for their affordable prices, but as you’ll find in our Lenovo Chromebook Duet review, this one takes the cake. It’s one of our favorite 2-in-1 Chromebooks for good reason, and I’d happily put my work laptop on the side to use this lightweight, versatile machine instead.

Now down to $229 in the U.S. and £239 in the U.K., this Lenovo Chromebook Duet is a fantastic choice for students and families alike. a bright, crisp 11-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS display that not only is great for productivity, but also for watching the latest shows on. Plus, smooth performance when browsing around the web.

It was already cheap, but now it’s an absolute steal!

Don’t miss this 2-in-1 Microsoft Surface at an incredibly low price

Microsoft Surface Pro 11

The Surface Pro 11 doesn’t come with the detachable type cover by default, but if you splurge for this accessory it turns this lovely tablet into a fairly useful productivity device. (Image credit: Tom’s Guide)

I review laptops and tablets for a living, and for my money the best of both worlds is basically the Microsoft Surface Pro 11.

As you can read in our Microsoft Surface Pro 11 review, this lovely 2-in-1 lasted over 12 hours in our battery tests and is a joy to use thanks to its slick design,

The Microsoft Surface Pro 11 is $869 at Amazon, which is almost $400 off the usual asking price for this 13-inch tablet with a Snapdragon X Plus chipset, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

That RTX 5070 Asus TUF Gaming A16 just got cheaper!

Asus TUF Gaming A18 on table outside with Tom's Guide Prime Day badge

(Image credit: Future / Tom’s Guide)

Asus’ TUF series has evolved beyond its budget roots, and the Asus TUF Gaming A16 is proof of that. This machine packs serious power — and now it’s seeing a serious discount in what might be one of the best anti-Prime Day deals around. In fact, since the last time we checked, it’s now even cheaper!

Right now at Best Buy, you can score the Asus TUF Gaming A16 with an RTX 5070 for just $1,349 ($50 less than before!), a sharp drop from its regular $1,699 price. That $300 discount gets you a whole lot of performance: an AMD Ryzen 9 270 CPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB SSD — a top-tier spec sheet for gamers and creators alike.

Sure, the display isn’t ultra-premium, but the 16-inch FHD+ panel (1920 x 1200) with a 165Hz refresh rate still delivers crisp visuals and buttery-smooth gameplay.

If you’re looking for serious gaming horsepower without paying premium-brand prices, this is the deal to beat — and it’s beating many of Prime Day’s so-called “best” offers. It’s only a tad smaller than the Asus TUF Gaming A18 I’ve tested with the same GPU, and I’m having a blast with that.

Final chance to grab MacBook Air M4 at $150 off!

MacBook Air 15-inch vs MacBook Air 13-inch

It’s your last day to grab one of the best laptops you can buy right now with a wonderful $150 discount! The 13- and 15-inch M4 MacBook Airs pack a lot of performance and insane power efficiency into a slim, sleek shell with a gorgeous display, strong webcam and impressive ergonomics. What more could you want!?

A stellar deal on our favorite budget Windows laptop!

Acer Aspire Go 15 (2024) review unit on deks running Dicey Dungeons

I’m a big fan of the Acer Aspire Go 15 because it gives you the bare minimum you need in a Windows 11 laptop for $300, making it ideal for kids, students and anyone who needs a barebones laptop for basic work and play.

That’s a killer value, and right now it’s an even better value than usual because the Acer Aspire Go 15 is down to $249 at Amazon. I wrote our Acer Aspire Go 15 review (that’s my desk in the photo above, sorry for the mess) and as you can read in that story, this thing lasts over 10 hours in our battery testing and sports a comfy keyboard with a sturdy chassis that can take a beating.

Admittedly, the 15.6-inch 1080p display is a little dim and the components are anemic, but as long as you’re just surfing the web, writing and enjoying light entertainment anywhere but outside at noon you’ll be just fine.

Last chance alley

Welcome to Day 4

We are now on the last day of Prime Day — making me absolutely certain that Amazon has lost track of time in knowing what a “day” actually is! But at least the laptop deals are oh-so sweet in the U.S. and U.K.!

We’ll be rapid-firing every single big saving that is actually worth it in this live feed — the kind of laptop deals I’d recommend to my friends and family.
