* As Brian Daboll mentioned in his pre-practice press conference, Darius Alexander shows a knack for winning in pass rush situations, especially inside. D.J. Davidson had a pair of good rushes, though he would go down with an injury later in practice. Kayvon Thibodeaux displayed his power with a pair of bull rushes against James Hudson and Marcus Mbow, and then his quickness with a fast win inside of the offensive tackle.
* During those one-on-ones, Jaxson Dart hit Montrell Washington for a pair of deep touchdowns, including one perfectly thrown at the pylon.
* Team drills once again featured a lot of run plays as the team worked on early downs and plays in the red zone. Tyrone Tracy had a pair of big runs where he showed his quickness, vision and burst, but overall the defensive front was stout and did not allow a lot of room for the Giants backs to operate. Elijah Chatman got some time at fullback.
* It’s hard to see who is in the middle of the piles of humanity on some of the interior runs, but at different points I saw Abdul Carter, Elijah Garcia, K’Von Wallace and Darius Muasau all have run stops. Muasau got his hand up on a downfield pass over his head to knock it away and prevent a big gain. Birthday boy Bobby Okereke got underneath a pass and deflected it to force an incompletion. Deonte Banks and Korie Black also had pass deflections.
* Russell Wilson displayed some great ball handling on a play action pass, rolling out and finding a wide open Daniel Bellinger for a touchdown. Wilson would end practice with a well-placed throw to Darius Slayton crossing along the back of the end zone despite tight coverage from Dru Phillips.
* Tommy DeVito hit Dalen Cambre for a tough catch down the sideline, leaping to make the catch before getting his feet down. The ball was knocked out by the defensive back late but not before Cambre completed the catch for the touchdown.
