They were called to her home three times in one day
Though information is still incredibly scarce, police have started to reveal some more details about Celeste Rivas after her body was discovered decomposing in a Tesla belonging to D4vd.
Besides a deleted TikTok comment, D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, has remained silent on the developing case of Celeste Rivas. Police found her body in the front boot of his car in early September, and while D4vd was on tour at the time, his LA rental has since been searched.
Scott Williams, the LAPD’s commander of the Robbery-Homicide Division, earlier said: “We know that the Tesla had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so it is very likely Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been dead for several weeks prior to her body being discovered.”

D4vd has still not been named as an official suspect, but while the internet picks apart every single thing about his career, police have been looking into her home life.
Police went to Celeste Rivas’ home 11 times before she was found in D4vd’s car
Between February 2024 and April 2025, Riverside County Sheriff deputies responded to a whopping 11 calls at the 15-year-old’s home in Lake Elsinore, California. As per TMZ, on March 19, 2024, police were called to the home three times, which was also when she was spotted on CCTV footage at a local liquor store.
According to the police documents viewed by the American publication, the majority of the 11 calls were filed as “minor crime investigations”, but one was marked as “suspicious circumstances.” Only four of the 11 calls recieved official police reports, and sheriffs did follow up with Celeste on at least three separate occasions.
Though not exactly the answers people have been demanding, the reports do align with other things we’ve heard about Celeste Rivas’ homelife before being found in D4vd’s car by police.
“She ran away to Hollywood with him once, and the police brought her back to school. Then she disappeared again in May 2024,” Celeste’s former teacher said, revealing a string of runaway attempts.
