Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Shiny Wo-Chien distribution live

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are offering a big limited time reward with a limited time Shiny Wo-Chien distribution.

Only a few days ago, the games wrapped up a Tera Raid Battle with the creature. Players were tasked with collectively defeating Shiny Wo-Chien at least one million times. The final count was over 3.5 million, and because of that, the distribution was unlocked. 

Here’s how you can claim Shiny Wo-Chien for both titles:

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Shiny Wo-Chien distribution steps

1. Launch Pokemon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet.
2. Select Poke Portal on the X menu.
3. Select Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.
4. Choose the gift you want to receive.
5. Watch as the gift arrives in your game.
6. Be sure to save your game.

Note that there is a similar event running with Shiny Chien-Pao currently with Shiny Ting-Lu and Shiny Chi-Yu to follow after that. These can also be unlocked later on for distributions. You can get the full details here.
