Fans will be able to delve even deeper into the world of Pokémon Legends: Z-A with Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension, an upcoming DLC adventure that adds additional content to the game. Hoopa plays an important role in Mega Dimension’s expanded story. This Mythical Pokémon can warp space using the rings on its horns and body, so we’re curious to see what sort of mischief it gets up to. During the events of Mega Dimension, you can also encounter two newly discovered Mega Evolutions—Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y!
When you purchase the DLC, you’ll be able to claim new Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel sets that you can use to customize your character’s outfit right away. Purchase Mega Dimension by February 28, 2026, and you’ll also receive a Luxurious Poké Ball Set, which includes a variety of Poké Balls that are especially effective at catching certain kinds of Pokémon. And once Mega Dimension’s additional story content is released, you’ll be able to continue your adventure with Team MZ in after you’ve completed the main story of Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension is compatible with both the Nintendo Switch system and the Nintendo Switch 2 system. Once purchased, it can be accessed regardless of whether you own Pokémon Legends: Z-A or Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Preorders for Mega Dimension are available now, with the DLC’s additional story content scheduled to release soon after the DLC goes on sale October 16, 2025.
