‘Pixelsnap’ charging puck leak confirms Qi2 magnets on Pixel 10

The latest Pixel 10 leak reveals the “Pixelsnap” charger and strongly suggests the presence of Qi2 magnets on the phone.

Evan Blass this afternoon shared an official-looking render of the Pixel 10 (in Indigo) with a charging puck attached to the back. (There’s no case, with the antenna lines and camera bump fully visible.) The charger has no branding, but its design and curvature matches typical Google accessories. In fact, it just looks like a larger version of the Pixel Watch 2/3 charger.

This is presumably the “Pixelsnap Charger” that was named in a previous Pixel 10 leak. The image more or less confirms — as we speculated — how the Pixel 10 contains Qi2 magnets that help align wireless chargers. Its presence on the base model is a good sign for the entire Pixel 10 lineup.

We also get our first picture of the official Pixel 10 Pro case and the design is unchanged from last year.

Meanwhile, today’s leak has what should be marketing copy bullet points for each phone. The Pixel 10 has an “Advanced triple rear camera system” with:

  • 48 MP wide with Macro Focus
  • 13 MP ultrawide
  • Super Res Zoom up to 20x

For reference, it’s 8x on the Pixel 9 and 30x on the Pixel 9 Pro. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL have a “Pro triple rear camera system” with:

  • 50 MP wide
  • 48 MP ultrawide with Macro Focus
  • Pro Res Zoom up to 100x

The “Pro Res” branding is new this year. Then there’s “8K video recording at 24/30 FPS (powered by Video Boost).” 24 FPS is not available today.

To round things out, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold has an “Advanced triple rear camera system.”
