Pamela Anderson Swoons Over 1 Quality Liam Neeson Has: ‘I’ve Never Experienced It Before’

It could be a late-in-life relationship for two beloved celebrities with tragic romantic pasts — or a very compelling PR move to promote a movie.

Either way, dating rumors have been swirling about “The Naked Gun” co-stars Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, and the “Baywatch” alum just added more fuel to the fire.

Speaking to The New York Times for a profile about Neeson published Thursday, Anderson said that the “Taken” star has one quality she’s “never experienced before.”

“He has so much charm and so much charisma that you kind of just fall into it. I can’t explain it because I’ve never experienced it before,” Anderson told the Times. “To do comedy, it gives you a lot of energy when you’re in something so joyful and silly. Liam has done over 100 movies, and I hope he’s inspired to do even more.”

Although Anderson and Neeson have not confirmed the status of their relationship, speculation about whether they were dating began to pick up steam late last year, after Neeson gushed to People magazine about working with Anderson.

“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Neeson told People. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”

The “Love, Pamela” author in turn, praised the “Schindler’s List” star as “the perfect gentleman.”

When the two began promoting their film last month, leading up to its Aug. 1 release, many fans had a hard time ignoring their blatantly affectionate behavior with one another.

The two actors shared a friendly kiss on the red carpet during the London premiere of “The Naked Gun” last week, then nearly recreated the smooch while speaking to “Entertainment Tonight” in New York on Monday.

They also posed on the red carpet during the movie’s New York premiere on Monday with both of their respective adult sons in tow.

Anderson has long been viewed as unlucky in love thanks to her publicly messy romances with ex-husbands and musicians, Tommy Lee and Kid Rock. Neeson tragically lost his wife, the late Natasha Richardson, in 2009 when she died from a traumatic brain injury from a skiing accident.

Despite their sad pasts, both Anderson and Neeson have spoken lovingly about their previous partners after their respective relationships ended.

This was no exception for Neeson during his interview with the Times, with the newspaper noting that during their discussions with the actor, mentions of Richardson would come up “in conversation unprompted from time to time.”

For instance, while speaking to Neeson about starring in the 1993 Broadway revival of “Anna Christie” — the play that prompted Steven Spielberg to offer Neeson his Oscar-nominated role in “Schindler’s List” — Neeson seemed more interested in talking about how he met his then co-star Richardson on that stage.

“It was great doing [the play] every night with her and falling in love,” Neeson told the Times in a whisper.
