If you have been shipping Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson after seeing their The Naked Gun press tour, you’re not alone. It appears much of the world wants to see these two together in real life, and to make matters even better, they know you’re rooting for them.
Anderson, 58, and Neeson, 73, addressed romance rumors this morning while sitting down with Craig Melvin on the Today show.

“Perhaps you’ve heard, there are a lot of folks on the internet who are talking about this budding love story, and I think we’ve got some proof to the theories that are out there,” Melvin started. “Some red carpet action, the tease from just a few moments ago: this passionate kiss,” he continued, as the camera cut to what appeared to be a staged video of the costars kissing. In the flick, Anderson puts her arms around Neeson’s neck, as he holds her waist. The Baywatch star then acts shocked and turns him toward the camera.
“Oh, my goodness, nothing is sacred,” Anderson quipped as they played the video back.

“There’s been some other evidence during your press tour. What’s the deal here? You’re both single right now, there’s clearly chemistry on display throughout this film. Are you two an item?” the host asked.
“What? I don’t understand the question” Anderson joked, while Neeson replied “Look, I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. I discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors. I was like, ‘Ooh, this is nice. Let’s not mull this, let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did.”
“So that’s what we’re doing right now: We’re watching the beginning of the breathing of a budding relationship?” Melvin responded as the pair gave shy smiles.
Later, while talking about the movie, the Taken star added, “We’re both silly. We discovered a silly bond in each other.” He concluded the interview by saying, “[The movie] was fun to do, and it was great to be with this lady. Seriously, ever day was like a joy.”

Melvin caught another sweet interaction when he added, “You bring out a different side of Liam Neeson,” to which she looked over at her costar with a smile and said “Good.”
Anderson and Neeson have captured the carpet every time they’ve stepped out. Just yesterday, they attended the U.S. premiere of the action-comedy in New York City, where Neeson sweetly held Anderson by the waist as they exchanged loving glances.
It was a blended family outing, as the Sonsie founder brought her two sons, Jagger and Brandon Thomas, whom she shares with her ex-husband Tommy Lee. Neeson brought his two sons, Daniel and Micheál, whom he shared with his late ex-wife Natasha Richarson.
