Orlando Bloom Sparks Dating Rumors With Actress Who Mocked Katy Perry

While Katy Perry took a jab at her previous romance with Orlando Bloom with her new song, “Bandaid,” it seems Bloom is biting back, alongside a woman that he’s sparked romance rumors with.

Let’s catch you up: In case you missed it, earlier this weekend, Bloom shared a selfie with an actress named Rachel Lynn Matthews, 32, who wore a very shady costume. While Perry’s 11-minute expedition on the Blue Origin spaceflight was meme-worthy, many fans are upset that Bloom, 48, not only took a photo with a much-younger woman but also posed with Matthews in a Blue Origin costume, potentially as a jab at his ex-fiance.

In the photo obtained by DailyMail, we can also see Matthews posted a pic mocking Perry’s kissing the ground moment.

But here’s something to keep in mind: Matthews has no loyalty to Perry. They don’t know each other, and Matthews went as one of the biggest pop culture moments in 2025 for Halloween, which a lot of people did. While she’s getting a lot of hate, fans need to keep this in mind, and take note that Bloom was the one who posed for the photo with the woman whose costume was seemingly mocking his ex-fiancée.

Was the costume mean-spirited? Yes. Was Bloom shady for posing for this pic? Oh yeah. But are they dating? Only time will tell.

For those who don’t know, Bloom and Perry met back in 2016 at a Golden Globes afterparty, and within a few months, they started dating. They confirmed their romance in May 2016 with a now-archived Instagram post. However, within less than a year, they actually split up. But their breakup didn’t last long either because they were spotted together in the summer of 2017, and then got back together by Jan 2018. After that, they got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019.

In March 2020, they announced they were expecting a child in Perry’s music video for her song “Never Worn White.” Then, on Aug. 27, 2020, they welcomed their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom into the world.

However, they broke up after nine years together in 2025. Since then, she has been dating the former Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.
