EXCLUSIVE: Spence Moore (Creed III, Brilliant Minds) and Charlie Mann (The Watchers, Virdee) have been cast as the leads in Starz‘s Power: Origins. They will play Ghost and Tommy, respectively, the younger versions of the characters portrayed by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora in the mothership Power series.
In Power: Origins, Ghost (Moore) and Tommy (Mann) are ambitious young entrepreneurs on the rise, determined to make their mark on the streets of New York City. The series will highlight the unbridled audacity of young men not just leveling up, but determined to become legends in the game.
Moore and Mann join Power Book III: Raising Kanan star MeKai Curtis who is set to reprise his role as younger Kanan Stark in Power: Origins. (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson played Kanan in the original series).
Power: Origins is the fourth spinoff and second prequel in the hit Power franchise. It follows Power Book II: Ghost, which wrapped its four-season run in 2024; prequel Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which will end with its upcoming fifth and final season; and Power Book IV: Force, whose third and final season debuts Nov. 7. A fifth spinoff, Power: Legacy, is in the works.
Raising Kanan creator and showrunner Sascha Penn is executive producer and showrunner on Power: Origins, whose pilot he co-wrote with Courtney A. Kemp, the creator and showrunner of the original Power series.
