Sadly, your choices are limited in the Android ecosystem, with support confined to popular phones and watches from Samsung and Google. Another problem with most 2- or 3-in-1 chargers is that they are not portable enough to carry while traveling, forcing you to carry separate charging cables for your phone and watch. Just don’t expect fast-charging
Instead of a charging bed or stand, OnePlus has integrated the POGO PIN charging connector for the OnePlus Watch into its SUPERVOOC cable itself. The 1.2m cable features a charging puck in the middle, with a USB-A connector on one end for the charger and a USB-C connector on the other.
It’s an innovative solution that eliminates the need for a separate charging dock, making the setup more compact and travel-friendly. Plus, with the charging puck built right into the cable, you’re less likely to misplace or forget an important part of your charging kit.
OnePlus uses the POGO PIN for charging across all its watches: the OnePlus Watch 2, 2R, and Watch 3.
The 2-in-1 cable can fast-charge your OnePlus phone and watch
Most 2-in-1 chargers typically only charge the phone at speeds of up to 20-30W. That’s not the case with OnePlus’ 2-in-1 SUPERVOOC cable.
When a compatible OnePlus phone — like the OnePlus 13 — is connected, it delivers up to 80W of charging power. Add a OnePlus Watch to the mix, and the power output to the phone drops slightly to 67W, with 10W going to the watch. This is still impressively fast, even while charging two devices simultaneously. The watch still fast charges, too, as it only needs up to 10W.
OnePlus wants a reasonable $30 for its 2-in-1 SUPERVOOC 8A cable, making it far cheaper than other 2-in-1 chargers available for Samsung and Pixel phones. It is also the same price as a replacement charger for the OnePlus Watch. You don’t get a charger with the cable, though, and you must use a SUPERVOOC power brick to enjoy the full charging speeds.
