Samsung says the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 secured 30% more pre-orders than last year’s models in Brazil. This sales frenzy follows other key markets, including India, South Korea, Europe, and the US, where the new foldables are trending.
Seems like Samsung is succeeding in convincing shoppers of the foldable form factor. According to Samsung Internal data, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip7 FE pre-sales rose by 30% to the Galaxy Z6 series in Brazil.
Similar to global markets, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 accounted for 56% of pre-sale orders in Brazil. The new foldable phone’s thinner design, improved cameras, and advanced artificial intelligence features pushed the sales.
In terms of color preferences, the model had the highest demand in the Jetblack (46%) and Blue (45%) versions. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 maintained relevance in the category, with 80% of sales driven by the JetBlack and Blue colors.

The new foldables are available for pre-sale until August 24 in Brazil. At the same time, the models are already available for purchase in the local market. The latest foldable phones are strengthening Samsung’s presence in Latin America.
“This moment goes beyond performance in numbers; it is also about performance with purpose. Foldables have ceased to be a curiosity to become a conscious choice for consumers who demand more: more productivity, more creativity, more flexibility in how they live, work, and express themselves,” says HS Jo, President and CEO of Samsung for Latin America.
Pre-sale perks in Brazil
Samsung offers an expanded sales platform, which includes programs like Smart Exchange, Samsung’s trade-in program, New Galaxy Club, and Buy and Try, which allows you to test the Galaxy Z Fold 7 for up to 60 days with a full refund if you wish to return the device at the end of the testing period.
