Ohio State’s defense earned its second shutout of the season while Sayin threw for a new career-high of 393 yards – completing 36 of his 42 passing attempts with four touchdowns – to lead the Buckeyes to a 34-0 triumph at Camp Randall Stadium.
Carnell Tate made two first-quarter touchdown catches as the Buckeyes raced to a 17-0 lead in Madison. The Buckeyes failed to score in the second quarter, breaking a streak of 12 consecutive quarters with points due to a missed 38-yard field goal by Jayden Fielding, but pulled away comfortably in the second half as the Badgers never threatened to make the game competitive.

Tate scored his second touchdown of the game before the first quarter even ended, showing off his strong hands again with a 10-yard catch in the corner of the end zone to make it a 17-0 game after Ohio State turned a Sonny Styles interception into a 38-yard Jayden Fielding field goal on its second possession.

Sayin connected with Brandon Inniss for Sayin’s fourth touchdown of the game and Inniss’ first touchdown of the season as Inniss made a leaping grab in the back of the end zone for a 13-yard score to complete the game’s scoring.
