Offense responds on Day 2

OXNARD, Calif. – Earlier this morning, Brian Schottenheimer declared how he was impressed by the energy from the first practice of Cowboys training camp this season. However, he wanted to see a cleaner, more efficient approach as the team enters practice number two on Wednesday.

There was a re-energized look from the offense as tight ends Jake Ferguson and Brevyn Spann-Ford each had a big day with multiple grabs. The offensive line did a much better job of controlling the line of scrimmage. Plus, the energy was constant throughout practice again, despite a quick scuffle in team drills and an injury timeout regarding wide receiver George Pickens.
