Geddes, N.Y. – Day 11 of the New York State Fair pulled in 100,396 visitors, who came for the concerts, rides, food, animals and everything else that makes the fair a late-summer tradition.
So far this year, 742,870 people have attended the fair. Saturday drew the largest crowd of the year, with 100,396 fairgoers — more than 50,000 above last year’s Day 11 total of 48,426.
At Suburban Park, nearly 18,000 guests tuned into the rock band, All Time Low’s, performance.
Sunday brings a new selection of entertainment. The Join the Band Tour will be at Chevy Court on Sunday, at 1 p.m., featuring live performances with Blippi, Meekah, musicians, and dancers.
The Chevrolet Music Series will also feature En Vogue at Chevy Court at 6 p.m. And, at Suburban Park, Mr. Boombastic, Shaggy, takes the stage at 8 p.m.
Other highlights include the Latino Village’s Latin Divas of Drag at 4 p.m at the Talent Showcase Stage, the 11th annual New York State arm wrestling championships at 1 p.m. in the Eatery and the the annual goat costume contest for the four-legged friends at 2 p.m., in the Goat, Llama, and Swine Barn.
