An NXT star will be making their full main roster debut on tonight’s July 11 episode of WWE SmackDown on the USA Network.
Tonight’s SmackDown comes ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event tomorrow, as well as the Evolution premium live event on Sunday.
In a newly announced match for SmackDown, there will be a preview for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way match at Evolution.
At Evolution, Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez will defend the championship against Raw’s Kairi Sane & Asuka, SmackDown’s Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair, and NXT’s Sol Ruca & Zaria.
As such, SmackDown will host a four-way between one woman from each of the four teams, that being Perez vs Sane vs Bliss vs Ruca.
That means Ruca, the current NXT Women’s North American Champion, will be making her official WWE main roster debut, as she has yet to wrestle on Raw or SmackDown until tonight.
She has, however, had a taste of main roster crowds from wrestling on WWE Main Event, in addition to being the current WWE Speed Women’s Champion.
This also means Ruca will be pulling triple duty over the next three days, as on top of the SmackDown and Evolution matches, she also has a North American Title defense against Izzi Dame at NXT’s Great American Bash, which takes place Saturday afternoon.
