Out of nowhere, Nintendo has just come out with a new “Close to You” animated video.
We’re not actually quite sure what this is as it was posted without any sort of explanation. But essentially, we’re treated to a very short “story” in which a toddler is going after his pacifier. Other than that, we can only be left to speculate what this is for and why Nintendo is releasing it now.
Since there’s nothing from this out of Nintendo, we’re wondering if this has something to do with Nintendo Pictures. That division was officially established at the end of 2022 with the goal of producing visual content based on Nintendo IP. However, today’s clip isn’t really related to any of its franchises.
