Nikki Bella’s first singles match in seven years set for WWE Raw

After a busy weekend of shows in Atlanta (and some big injury news), with just hours to go before the July 14 Raw, WWE only had one match booked for the show. It was a big one: the CM Punk, Jey Uso, LA Knight, Penta, and Bron Breakker gauntlet match to determine Gunther’s next challenger for the WWE World title that Triple H announced at the post-Evolution press conference last night. But still, that’s clearly not going to take up approximately two hours on Netflix tonight.

So red brand General Manager Adam Pearce announced another match and two other additions to the Monday night line-up.

The match will pit Nikki Bella against Chelsea Green. That will be a continuation of their issues from Evolution’s battle royal, and Hall of Famer Bella’s first singles match on Raw — or anywhere — since 2018.

Naomi will also be on hand, and have a word for the fans after winning the WWE Women’s World title when she cashed in her Money in the Bank contract during IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley’s championship match last night. And after retiring Goldberg on Saturday night in A-Town, WWE World champ Gunther will be in Birmingham, Alabama to see who his next challenger is… and say a little something to the world, as well.

Sound like a plan?
