Nicole Kidman is sharing a behind-the-scenes look at her show-stopping runway walk at Vogue World: Hollywood.

On Sunday, Oct. 26, the actress, 58, shared a post to Instagram showing off how she, Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann shot the backstage version of “Put the Blame on Mame,” the song performed by Rita Hayworth as the titular character in the classic 1946 film Gilda.

Before she opened the runway show — which fell on Keith Urban’s 58th birthday — Kidman could be seen posing in her Chanel gown at a Paramount Studios lot alongside Wintour as they worked on video footage and photos accompanying her walk.

Another photo showed Wintour, Kidman and Luhrmann sitting in folding chairs and smiling at the camera as they worked on the backstage footage.

“Celebrating film and fashion at Vogue World: Hollywood ❤️ Thank you to Anna, Baz, Matthieu and the entire Vogue World team!” the Practical Magic star captioned her post.

Kidman’s gown, designed by Matthieu Blazy for Chanel, was a black, draped satin bustier dress that was decorated with black satin camellias (which served as a subtle nod to the black dress Hayworth wore in the Gilda scene).

Her glam was also a nod to Old Hollywood, as the star rocked a bold red lip and smokey eye, paired with her blonde bombshell curls parted on the side.

Later in the evening, the Big Little Lies alum walked the runway to Hayworth’s song.

The day after the event, Kidman shared another Instagram carousel of her night, with even more gorgeous black and white photos of her look and the event. “a little more of the magical night that was Vogue World: Hollywood,” she wrote in the caption.

Kidman, who appears on the cover of Vogue for October, and Elvis director Luhrmann have been candid about the close bond over the years.

Speaking to PEOPLE in 2023, Luhrmann recalled how their first encounter came as a result of collaborating together on an issue of Vogue Australia.

“I was co-editing an issue of Vogue, it was Australian Vogue, and we were going to L.A. and I wanted her in it. We were fast friends,” he recalled.

Luhrmann added, “[You] have artists that you become really close with. You have artists that you work professionally with, but you wouldn’t say you’d pick up the phone and say, ‘Hey, I’m in town.’ But Nicole is one of a few artists who have been deep [and] is a deep friend.”

Kidman’s Vogue collaboration comes amid her separation from Urban after 19 years of marriage. The Oscar winner filed for divorce in Nashville on Sept. 30 and cited irreconcilable differences.

Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Kidman is “surrounded by the two things that matter the most to her,” which are “her family and her work.” She is also “keeping it positive” as she navigates her new normal. “She isn’t someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason.”

Kidman and Urban married in 2006 and share two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who are now 17 and 14. Kidman asked to be primary residential parent in the custody agreement as part of the divorce filing.

Among the actress-producer’s upcoming screen projects are TV adaptations Margo’s Got Money Troubles and Scarpetta, a third season of Big Little Lies and a sequel to 1988’s Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock. Kidman announced on Sept. 13 via Instagram that the latter film officially finished filming.

“She has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life,” the source added to PEOPLE of Kidman, who has “several work projects coming up and is looking forward to them.”
