NFL Week 1 staff picks: Moneyline, spread, over/under predictions

But we’re not going to let ESPN rain on our parade, especially when Thursday’s game that kicks off the season is on… Peacock?! Alright, well, at least Friday’s game in São Paulo isn’t on Netflix or some other streaming service…

Here at Pride of Detroit, we’re ignoring the black clouds rolling in and focusing on the sunny days ahead. Our staff has made their picks for not only Thursday night’s tilt, but the entire slate of Week 1 games.

As we have done in past seasons, our staff will be making weekly predictions for every game on the NFL schedule. Each of the Pride of Detroit staff will pick the moneyline (winner of the game, no spread), but some of the members will also pick against the spread and even the over/under lines—there’s an easy-to-use toggle button in the widget below to cycle through the settings and in the week’s ahead, check out our records when it comes to making picks. You can also check out all of the odds for this week’s games courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Thursday night’s game, as previously mentioned, is between the Micah-less Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles—those division rivals will meet on NBC/Peacock at 8:20 p.m. ET Friday’s game is another showdown between divisional opponents when the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers face off on YouTube at 8 p.m. from Corinthians Arena in Brazil.

ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” is another clash between NFC North foes: the Minnesota Vikings head toward Lake Michigan for an 8:15 p.m. contest with Ben Johnson’s Chicago Bears.

Here is who our staff is picking on the moneyline, spread, and over/under for all 16 games on the NFL Week 1 schedule:
