NFC Playoff Picture: Seattle Seahawks in first place (for now)

The Seattle Seahawks are in first place in the NFC. With multiple top teams in the NFC losing on Sunday, the news is even better for Seattle. The Philadelphia Eagles can still reclaim first place on Monday night, but at worst Seattle will be a tiebreaker from leading the conference.

It isn’t just close at the top of the NFC. In the NFC West, the Los Angeles Rams are tied with the Seahawks but Seattle has a better record in the division. LA is the top wild card team right now.

The NFC North leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the New England Patriots. Tampa falls to fourth place with the loss.

The Green Bay Packers play the Eagles on Monday night in a huge NFC playoff picture game.

In the wild card, the Rams, Detroit Lions, and Chicago Bears all won. The 49ers lost, so every team that is better than 6-4 is in playoff position.
