New Jersey expands COVID vaccine access: What to know about new rules

Anybody who wants a COVID-19 vaccine booster shot, regardless of their age, won’t need a prescription to get one from their local pharmacy in New Jersey, the state Health Department announced Tuesday night.

People across the country have run into roadblocks and faced confusion getting COVID shots since the Food and Drug Administration under President Donald Trump’s administration reversed the policy that recommended anyone 6 months and older may receive the vaccine.
