A handful of title matches were announced for the upcoming WWE SummerSlam, setting the stage for a big show.
During Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, the newly crowned WWE Women’s World Champion, Naomi, took to the ring. As she celebrated, it wasn’t long before Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY came out. Eventually, the pair got into it, and Adam Pearce set a Triple Threat match for the title at SummerSlam.
Alongside the triple threat match, another title match was also set. Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley in a two-out-of-three falls match on RAW. The match saw Valkyria win after hitting the Nightwing on Bayley. After the win, Lynch came down to the ring, and stared down Valkyria with her WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
WWE SummerSlam is set to take place on August 2-3, 2025, and will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The fully updated card for the event includes:
- Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
- WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Jade Cargill
- WWE Women’s World Championship: Naomi (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. IYO SKY
- WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Lyra Valkyria
- Jelly Roll & Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul
