This one was partially the whole “categorization of The Bear as a comedy” thing (see above), and less about Liza’s historic win — she is the first Latina to have won the award, saying in her speech, “I didn’t think it would be possible.” But some also argued that Hannah was specifically deserving of accolades for her role in Season 3 of the show. When Liza won, Hannah’s mom took to X and wrote, “FUCK. THE. BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
