Miranda Kerr is addressing Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry‘s split.
If you forgot, the 42-year-old Australian model was married to the 48-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor from 2010 until 2013 and they share 14-year-old son Flynn. Orlando started dating the 40-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer in 2016, they got engaged in 2019, and welcomed daughter Daisy in 2020. It was revealed this past June that they had split up.
In a new interview, Miranda – who has maintained a close relationship with Orlando and formed a friendship with Katy – broke her silence on the former couple’s split.
Keep reading to find out more…While appearing on The Kyle & Jackie O Show on Wednesday (September 3), Miranda confirmed that Katy and Orlando‘s split was amicable and shared that she’s spent time with both of them since it occurred.
“I actually just saw them both on the weekend. We were celebrating Daisy’s birthday,” Miranda shared. “We’re one big, happy family.”
“Katy is amazing, I love her,” she added. “And Orlando obviously.”
Miranda also noted that it’s very important to keep a split “harmonious” when children are involved.
“Like, the needs of the child always has to come first,” she explained. “And it needs to be harmonious. And you know what? They’re going to be in your life for the rest of your life. Because they have a child together, so you just be peaceful, I mean, in my opinion.”
