Millie Bobby Brown Shares First Photo of Newborn Daughter

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi have officially shared the first photo of their daughter less than two weeks after the surprise announcement that they had adopted a baby girl. Taking to Instagram on Monday, September 1, the Stranger Things actress shared a photo dump of recent snapshots, including one of Bongiovi carrying their newborn in an infant car seat.

Brown captioned the Instagram carousel with three very fitting emojis: “🍼✨🐥.”

In their August announcement, Brown and Bongiovi revealed that they became parents at some point this summer. They have not disclosed their daughter’s name, birth date, or adoption date.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post at the time. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”

“And then there were 3,” the note concluded. “Love, Millie and Jake Bongiovi.”

The husband and wife duo wed in May 2024 after coupling up in 2021. Brown was just 19 at the time of their nuptials. She later opened up about her decision to get married in an interview Alex Cooper on “Call Her Daddy.”

“We had dogs together, and we were taking care of our animals, and we started living this day-to-day life,” Brown recalled. “I thought, ‘Oh, I really don’t think I could ever see you as anything else. I don’t want to be with anyone else ever again. I don’t want to date, I don’t want to meet anyone, I want you.’”

Following the couple’s 2023 engagement, the Enola Holmes actress explained their penchant for privacy in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily.

“There are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me,” she told the publication. “So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest.”
