Millie Bobby Brown‘s time in Hawkins is coming to an end, but she’s only just beginning a lifelong connection to one of her Stranger Things costars.
The actress behind Eleven has revealed that Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers on the Netflix sci-fi hit, is the godfather of her baby daughter.
“Sadie is very, very maternal, but Noah’s her godfather,” Brown told Entertainment Tonight at the Stranger Things season 5 premiere on Thursday, noting that their costar Sadie Sink also enjoys her time with the baby.
“They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves,” Brown said. “Their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”

Schnapp told the same outlet about the pleasure of witnessing Brown, his close friend since Stranger Things launched in 2016, become a mother.
“Aw, it’s honestly the greatest joy,” he said. “It’s actually crazy to me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent, young, silly girl and now she’s a mom and married. And I’m just so proud of her.”
Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi (the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi) announced that they adopted a baby girl in August. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” the couple said at the time.
Stranger Things will soon return to Netflix for its fifth and final season. The series’ showrunners, Matt and Ross Duffer, reiterated the importance of Schnapp’s character in the final batch of episodes during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“Because the story really began with Will and his disappearance, it felt, in order to go full circle, it needed to really end with him in so many ways,” Matt said of Schnapp’s traumatized character. “In the last couple seasons, we hadn’t really centered much of the show on Will. So there was so much to explore with him from a character perspective and plot perspective.”

Matt also teased an expansion of Brown’s onscreen superpowers, noting that the twin showrunners wanted to “level her up” for the final season “within the realm of possibilities of what we’ve shown in the past.”

Ross explained how Eleven appears to fly in the season 5 trailer. “It’s like she’s pushing down at the ground and having that energy propel her up,” he said. “So she’s not really flying, but she is boosting herself and getting some serious air.”
Stranger Things season 5 drops its first string of episodes on Netflix on Nov. 26.
