Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are having a parents’ night out!
On Thursday, Nov. 6, the couple stepped out for the Stranger Things season 5 premiere in Los Angeles, marking their first appearance since welcoming their daughter via adoption in August.
Brown, 21, made a statement in a figure-hugging black lace gown with feather details by Rodarte. While speaking to Variety on the red carpet, the actress joked that she was wearing black “for the funeral of the show.”
“This dress kind of embodies the darkness of the show this season,” she continued. “I’m really excited for everyone to see how dark the season gets.”
Further leaning into the show’s theme colors, Bongiovi, 23 opted for a crimson velvet suit with a white shirt and black tie.
Brown coordinate with her husband’s look by sporting a new reddish hair color, wearing her strands pulled back into a glamorous updo. She finished off the look with Aldo shoes and Chopard jewelry.

Brown made an outfit change inside the event. She was later photographed alongside Bongiovi wearing a maroon corset with ivory lace trim and a matching mini skirt.
The couple announcing that they had welcomed their first baby via adoption in an Instagram post on Thursday, Aug. 21.
“This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy,” she wrote in the post. “And then there were 3.”

The pair — who sparked romance rumors in June 2021 when Bongiovi shared a selfie with the actress — first connected through Instagram. They “were friends for a bit” before they started dating, the actress told Wired in 2022. The couple then secretly married in May 2024.

In an interview with British Vogue for their December cover story, Brown shared a opened up about life with her baby girl.
“It’s been a beautiful, amazing journey — she’s taught us so much already,” Brown told the outlet. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”
The Enola Holmes star also shared that she and her husband, who is the son of rocker Jon Bon Jovi, are splitting their parenting duties equally.
“We are 50-50 on everything. That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life — he is just the most amazing dad,” she said.
Elsewhere in the article, Brown said that she hopes to expand her family.
“I really want a big family — I’m one of four; he’s one of four,” she explained of her husband. “I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different [than] adopting.”
