Michel Pereira’s head bounces off the canvas as he suffers shockingly sickening 43-second knockout loss

Michel Pereira’s latest Octagon outing ended in a stunning 43-second knockout loss.

Kyle Daukaus was known as a grappling specialist ahead of his return to the UFC on Saturday.

The 20-fight veteran has just one KO/TKO win on his record before he fought at UFC Shanghai.

UFC commentator Michael Bisping was talking about Michel Pereira‘s opponent lacking punching power moments before he detonated a big bomb to change the fight.

Kyle Daukaus knocks out Michel Pereira

Pereira made the grave mistake of jumping into range with his chin in the air at UFC Shanghai.

Daukaus caught him coming in with a crisp right-hand counter that landed right on the button.

The Brazilian fan favorite appeared to be out cold as he collapsed to the floor like a falling statue.

However, once he hit the mat, it became clear that he was still conscious as he tried to fend off the follow-up strikes.

Daukaus rained down with vicious elbows that had Pereira’s head bouncing off the Octagon floor.

The unconscious middleweight took a couple of extra shots before referee Marc Goddard stepped in and waved off the fight after just 43 seconds

Michel Pereira’s losing streak

Pereira looked like a legitimate title contender after putting together an eight-fight UFC win streak.

Things haven’t been the same since he squared off against Anthony Hernandez in October 2024.

‘Fluffy’ mauled him for five rounds before forcing the TKO finish with less than two minutes left on the clock.

Things went from bad to worse when he tried to bounce back against Abus Magomedov in April.

Pereira was booed out of the arena after a painful performance, following his pre-fight dance routine.

A third loss in a row means Pereira could be cut from the roster in the next few days.

If Dana White decides to keep him, Pereira will fight to save his UFC career later this year.
