Megyn Kelly Slams Beyoncé As ‘Fake’ While Defending Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle Ad

In an effort to praise Sydney Sweeney and her American Eagle ad, Megyn Kelly took a jab at Beyoncé and her Levi’s ad, saying nothing about the singer is “natural.”

“This is the opposite of the Sydney Sweeney ad,” the Republican media personality wrote on social media Tuesday morning. “Quite clearly there is nothing natural about Beyonce. Everything – from her image to her fame to her success to her look below – is bought and paid for. Screams artificial, fake, enhanced, trying too hard.”

In the image Kelly shared, the singer is dressed head to toe in sparkly denim and sports curly blond hair.

“‘Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ is and always was about the jeans. Her jeans. Her story,” the statement read. “We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”

It’s no surprise that Kelly went after Beyoncé, who has long supported Democratic politicians and in October appeared at former Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign rally in Houston — Beyoncé hometown.

“I’m here as a mother, a mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we’re not divided,” Beyoncé said at the event.
