Manchester United could unleash dream game-changing partnership vs Everton

Man United fans are yet to see their new £133.5million attacking combination.

Much of the transfer talk around Manchester United is centred around Benjamin Sesko.

The Reds are pursuing a deal for the 22-year-old RB Leipzig forward and there is a confidence that the Slovenia international could be on his way to Old Trafford. His potential arrival would almost definitely push Ruben Amorim’s summer spend beyond £200million as United attempt to rebuild after a disastrous 2024/25 campaign.

Sesko would follow Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as big-money attacking additions and the trio would form a new-look United frontline.

Whether Sesko – or another centre forward – arrives or not, United have already revamped the attack with their business to date and Sunday night’s friendly with Everton could offer the first glimpse of the future should Cunha and Mbeumo play together.

The duo are earmarked for the two number 10 roles in Amorim’s set-up but Mbeumo has yet to pull on a red shirt having only joined shortly before the tour of America, while Cunha missed the midweek win over Bournemouth.

The Brazilian has had two outings so far and the prospect of him lining up alongside Mbeumo is a tantalising one, particularly with Amad and Bruno Fernandes having impressed at right wing back and in central midfield respectively this summer.

That quartet has a creative and prolific look about it and fans could have their first glimpse into the new-look United against the Toffees.

Sesko himself may also be watching on with interest.
