M4 Mac mini $499, 24GB M3 MacBook Air, more 9to5Mac

Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break Apple deals are kicking off the M4 Mac mini. Alongside ongoing deals on the heavily upgraded models, Amazon has now dropped the entry variant down to $499 shipped with the 512GB model at $110 off the list price. From there, we move over to some seriously discounted M3 MacBook Air models – the 15-inch 24GB and the 13-inch 24GB are both $500 off the list price and $400 under the MSRP on the comparable M4 models. Everything else awaits down below.

Amazon just knocked the M4 Mac mini down to $499 shipped

We are still tracking a number of notable discounts on the higher-end upgraded configurations of Apple’s latest M4 Mac mini you’ll find down below, most of which are particularly rare offers. But Amazon is stepping in this morning with a deal on the most affordable M4 Mac mini configuration down at $499 shipped.

The base model M4 Mac mini carries a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU alongside 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD at $599. It delivers some serious value for folks who just don’t need any more power than that, and now even more so with a $100 discount down to $499.

Today’s deal is the best price we have tracked in months on Amazon and lands on par with most of the deals we have seen this year. Back in late June it did go for $30 less than this, with a few very short-lived drops into the $488 – $495 range before that, but it’s hard to deny the value of landing a current-generation M4-equipped Mac at $499 either way.

Amazon has also dropped the price on the 16GB/512GB model down to $689 shipped from the regular $799 list price for $110 in savings – this is matching the lowest price we have tracked at Amazon on this config.

As mentioned above, this deal on the most affordable variant is also joining a host of discounts on higher-end Mac mini configurations courtesy of authorized dealer B&H right now – these are configurations you can’t even buy on Amazon and setups we don’t see on sale nearly as often:

Today’s accessories and charging deals:

Apple’s most affordable current-gen MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM now $300 off at $1,499 (Rare deal)

If you’re looking to buy a new MacBook Pro, the latest M4 series models are all seeing serious $300 price drops. No matter which configuration you’re after, it is almost certainly seeing a major discount right now and we have just spotted another one – the most affordable M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM at $300 off.

B&H is now offering the M4 MacBook Pro with 24GB of RAM and the 512GB SSD down at $1,499 shipped. You’re looking at a regularly $1,799 configuration at $300 off the list price and the best we can find. This deal is only available on the Space Black model.

This is another B&H special you simply can’t buy on Amazon. Not some custom job, but rather the same machine you would get straight from Apple if you configured the base model M4 MacBook with the 24GB RAM upgrade. It is, of course, a complete, fully legit setup coming straight from an authorized Apple dealer, not some sort of Frankenstein machine.

The most affordable model with 24GB of RAM Amazon even offers has 1TB of storage and is current marked down from $1,999 to $1,699 shipped – that, for the record, is the same price as the base model M4 Pro right now. But because you can’t configure this model with less storage, today’s deal at B&H is a rare offer and the lowest price we can find on the most affordable 24GB current-generation MacBook Pro.

But as mentioned above, there are $300 price drops on a number of MacBook Pro configs right now and you can scope them out below:
