MMA Fighting has PFL Dubai results for the Nurmagomedov vs. Hughes 2 fight card, a live blog of the main event, and more from Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on Friday afternoon.
In the main event, Usman Nurmagomedov (19-0, 1 NC) once again battles Paul Hughes (13-2) with an inaugural PFL lightweight title on the line. Though Nurmagomedov has yet to taste defeat in his career, he was taken to the limit by Hughes in back in January when Nurmagomedov defended his belt from the now-defunct Bellator promotion. Hughes earned a second shot at Nurmagomedov with a 42-second knockout of Bruno Miranda the following May and now the two look to top the Fight of the Year performance they put on in their first meeting.
Former Bellator light heavyweight champion Corey Anderson (19-6) rematches Dovlet Yagshimuradov (25-7-1) in the co-main event to determine the PFL 205-pound champion.
