Based on the Instagram post Lisa Yamada shared on November 21, it’s true: She really is gone as Bold & Beautiful psycho Luna. But she certainly won’t be forgotten. As news of her exit was made public, her colleagues came forward to marvel at her accomplishments.
“You’re an absolute warrior!!!” cheered Lawrence Saint-Victor, who not only plays Carter but writes for the soap. “To carry story the you way did and command the screen is nothing short of amazing. To play the innocent ingenue, then the evil villain to the broken character that just wants to be loved….. chef’s kiss! You’re amazing!”
Rebecca Budig, aka Taylor, had but one regret about Yamada’s time on the show. “Wish I could have done more with you, girl!” she said. “They threw so much at you… so many words, so much emotion, and you rocked it all.”
Producer Rachel Herman said she was “so, so proud of you and how you handled everything we threw at you with grace, humor and badass acting skills. You’re amazing, Lis.”
Newly minted executive producer Casey Kasprzyk commented, “Lisa, it’s not easy to create a soap villain that leaves such a lasting impact, but you truly elevated Bold & Beautiful, making the audience love to hate Luna while appreciating your incredible acting talents. Thank you for everything.”
