Liam Neeson is opening up about his marriage to late wife Natasha Richardson and sharing rare comments about the moment they fell in love.

The 73-year-old actor was married to Natasha from 1994 until her tragic death in 1999 after a skiing accident. They shared two sons, Micheál, 30, and Daniel, 28.

16 years later, Liam is in a public relationship for the first time since the loss of Natasha and he’s currently dating his The Naked Gun co-star Pamela Anderson. All of their kids came together for the NYC premiere this week!

In a new interview with The New York Times, Liam talked about falling in love with Natasha while working together on the Broadway play Anna Christie in 1993.

“It was great doing it every night with her,” Liam said. “And falling in love.”

Liam mentioned Natasha again during the interview, while discussing the success of his 2008 action movie Taken. The New York Times noted “he talks about that Sunday morning when she walked up the stairs, giggling, with a tray carrying tea and a bran muffin, to tell him that the film was doing well at the box office.”

One of Natasha‘s friends just reacted to Liam‘s new relationship.
