Lego and Pokemon’s first collaboration is shaping up to be huge, with leaks suggesting one of the debut sets will cost over $600 and stand as one of the largest builds in Lego history.
Lego and Nintendo are nothing new, with the companies collaborating to make an NES model complete with television and scrolling Super Mario Bros, or a brand new Lego Game Boy. They’ve created various Mario sets, Zelda designs, and even adorable Animal Crossing creations, too.
Well, now, they’re adding Pokemon to the mix, marking the very first Pokemon Lego sets to ever officially release – and it’s set to be huge, in both price and size.
New Lego Pokemon set has over 6,800 pieces according to leak
According to a report from Legoleak, one of the upcoming sets will contain just under 7,000 pieces (6,838) and retail for an impressive $649.99.
That would make it the seventh-largest Lego set ever released, landing just above the Star Wars AT-AT and only slightly below the Millennium Falcon, which boasts 7,541 pieces and is synonymous with its impressive size and brick count.
LegoThe report also claims the release date is set for March 1, 2026, with Lego Insiders getting early access beginning February 27, but given it’s a leak, nothing is set in stone yet.
In addition to the giant $650 set, two more builds are said to be on the way. One reportedly features 587 pieces priced at $59.99, while another clocks in at 2,050 pieces with a $199.99 price tag.
Details on what these sets will actually depict are still under wraps. But if the leak proves accurate, the biggest of the bunch will be one of Lego’s most ambitious builds to date, and a centerpiece for both collectors and Pokemon fans.
