A former member of the bands Amen, Brides of Destruction, The Wildhearts and Sorry and the Sinatras passed away last week.
Scott Sorry, also known as Gerard Scott, lost a battle with brain cancer and died on Thursday — which was also his 47th birthday.
His family posted on his Instagram account announcing his death.
“He outlived every Doctors expectation, turning months into years, and even made it back to the UK in 2022 for a tour — something that meant the world to him,” the post said.
“He was so grateful to be able to play again, to see so many familiar faces and to personally thank so many of you that had supported him through it all.”

Sorry first played bass in the band Amen — joining them for their “Join or Die” tour. He continued to play for the band until his departure in 2005.
Afterwards, Sorry played as the bassist for Brides of Destruction for a short period of time before joining The Wildhearts in 2006 and Sorry and the Sinatras in 2007, also as their bassist.
Sorry pursued a solo career starting in 2015 until his death. He was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer in 2018.
Sorry is survived by his wife Hanni and their three children.
