For the second straight week, concerns about Lamar Jackson’s availability were lifted by his return to practice Thursday.
After missing Wednesday’s practice, Jackson was a full practice participant a day later as the Ravens prepare to take on the New York Jets Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium.
Jackson said taking Wednesday off could become his new normal moving forward.
“Probably. We’ll see how it goes, though. Have to see how [Head] Coach [John Harbaugh] feels about it,” he said with a smile.
Jackson had knee soreness coming out of the game in Minnesota and it was an ankle issue this week following a game in which he was sacked five times by the Cleveland Browns. Jackson has already taken as many sacks (23) as he did all last season.
“It’s just part of football, I guess, but I’m good,” Jackson said. “This is my first time dealing with something like this, while I’m playing, at that. We have great trainers and stuff like that. Our staff is good. So, like I said, I’m good.”
