Kylie Jenner Revives ‘King Kylie’ Era After a Decade

Kylie Jenner has taken a step back in time for her latest makeup collection. The reality TV star has launched a product line referencing “King Kylie”. She invented the alter ego back in 2015, when she was known for her Tumblr-inspired looks and turquoise hair.

Kylie announced that she’s re-launching a number of signature products from Kylie Cosmetics from her “King Kylie” era.
In an Instagram post, she told fans: “this King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!! ? you’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here … 10 years later! without your support.”

The beauty founder revealed that the re-launch has been a constant request from fans. She continued: “I’ve seen all your messages asking for a King Kylie collection, the fearless era that had a dream at just 17 years old! I wanted to give you exactly what you’ve been waiting for.”

The collection features metallic lip glosses, an eyeshadow palette, and of course, her lip kits. The beauty mogul is going all out in the promotion of the collection, which launches October 18. She’s even released a song as King Kylie. Let’s hope it’s as iconic as Kim’s Jam (Turn It Up).

While Kylie is celebrating the relaunch with teal-colored makeup and hair streaks, there are some beauty trends she’ll never turn to again. She told Elle that the era “will always be a part of who I am, but it’ll never be what it was when I was younger.”

She added: “I probably would never wear lash extensions and thick eyebrows. There are just certain trends that I’ve grown out of.”

The collection announcement comes amid rumors that Kylie’s relationship with Timothée Chalamet has been close to collapse recently.
