It seems that Kris Jenner couldn’t stay away from her iconic cropped brunette hair for long. Last week, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians matriarch debuted a bold new look, ditching her signature dark shade for a platinum blonde bob. Now, just five days laters, she’s gone back to her old ‘do.
Her hair stylist, Chris Appleton, debuted her hair transformation in an Instagram video that showed her first with a dark bob, followed by a cropped pixie, which she wore with her hair tossed to one side in a dramatic side part. She paired her chic new look with a bright red lip, oversized statement earrings, and a red, yellow, and black plaid blazer. “The iconic “pixi” is back @krisjenner ✂️,” Appleton wrote in the caption.

Jenner previously went blonde on October 8 when Appleton shared an Instagram video of the transformation. Jenner and Appleton later made a joint appearance at the Shark Beauty ‘Mission to Glam’ Event in Beverley Hills, where Appleton chatted with Jenner onstage about her new hair.

“I like it,” Jenner told her stylist, per Us Weekly. “It’s just fun to switch it up. You know, to like, be blonde. All you blondes out there, you might have more fun.”
However, Jenner did warn that her new ‘do may not last long. In fact, she confessed she might keep it “just for the day.”
“I mean, you know me, I’ll be back to the black tomorrow,” she said, adding, “I wore that black pixie for so long, you know, I couldn’t look at it anymore. I’m sure my kids are excited that I tried something new.”
Jenner’s brief blonde moment comes right after her daughter, Kim Kardashian debuted her own dark pixie cut at Paris Fashion Week and looked like the spitting image of her mom.
