Kim Kardashian Wears Nothing but Body Paint With ’90s Hair Makeover

Just as quickly as it left, Kim Kardashian’s pixie era is back for her latest fashion cameo—and she’s stripping down to show off her new hair transformation. Popularized by the ilk of NSYNC and Nick Lachey in the ’90s, chunky frosted tips and side-swept bangs have divided fans since their heyday. But on Sunday, the hair chameleon gave the polarizing look her own Kris Jenner-approved twist while posing naked in nothing but body paint.

Kardashian had fans seeing double as she channeled the Momager’s once-signature pixie hairstyle, albeit with some bold highlights, for a photoshoot with Re-Edition magazine. In an Instagram post shared on November 2, the Skims founder got creative with naked dressing as she transformed her bare torso into a literal work of art. Posing on the cover of the publications AW ’25 issue while wearing a body paint outfit from artist Athena Paginton that was inspired by Gucci, Kim had fans comparing her to Kris as she showed off a bold, side-swept light brown pixie cut with blonde highlights. The piecy, spiky style—a dead ringer for Winona Ryder’s caramel crop that she debuted at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival—complemented Kardashian’s ombré blue and gray smoky eyeshadow, matte brown lipstick, and distinctive contour. 

Kardashian didn’t stop the makeup at her face, as she posed in a light green blazer jacket, a white ruffled plunging blouse, blue jeans, and a brown leather belt completely made out of paint, courtesy of Pagington’s artistry.

In another photo, the multi-hyphenate went topless while wearing an optical illusion brown blazer jacket, a light blue dress shirt that was unbuttoned all the way down to her ribs, and a brown patterned tie that was loosely done—another all-paint creation. Adding a pair of real tailored black slacks, the All’s Fair actress gave the ultimate office siren combination an edgy twist by posing with a cigarette in her mouth.
