Kentucky vs. South Carolina: Friday Night Availability Report

We are less than 24 hours away from kickoff between Kentucky and South Carolina. That means it’s time for one more SEC Availability Report.

Each Wednesday of SEC contests, both schools will share an availability report. It will be updated nightly, with one final ruling an hour before kickoff on Saturdays. Players must be listed as out (0% chance to play), doubtful (25% chance to play), questionable (50% chance to play), or probable (75% chance to play).

On Thursday night, Kentucky fans learned that DJ Waller will not return for the SEC road contest, while South Carolina lost two starters on the offensive line. The Wildcats and Gamecocks will collide on Saturday at 7:45 p.m. ET (SEC Network) in Columbia. Here is the latest on each team’s health.

Kentucky Availability Report

  • DL Nic Smith: Out
  • WR David Washington Jr.: Out
  • WR Preston Bowman: Out
  • RB Jamarion Wilcox: Out
  • TE Elijah Brown: Out
  • CB DJ Waller Jr.: Out
  • QB Zach Calzada: Questionable
  • OL Aba Selm: Questionable

Mark Stoops did not make any changes to the injury report over the last 24 hours, however, it’s highly unlikely that Zach Calzada is able to play if Kentucky needs to break the glass in case of a quarterback emergency.

South Carolina Availability Report

  • OL Cason Henry: Out
  • OL Nolan Hay: Out
  • DB Buddy Mack III: Out

Texas A&M transfer Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy started the week as probable, but the interior defensive lineman has been taken off the availability report by Friday. Starting cornerback Judge Collier has not played since Week 1, but is now expected to play against Kentucky.
