Kate Gosselin is revealing the full extent of her injuries.
If you don’t know, the 50-year-old former Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality TV star shared an update on social media after confirming she had been hospitalized.

“Meika, my puppy, ran into me full-speed ahead, and I ended up with a tibial plateau fracture and surgery with plates and pins in my leg,” Kate shared during a TikTok live.
Her doctor apparently told her, “This is one of those things that is a life-altering event.”
Medscape reports that “fractures of the plateau affect knee alignment, stability, and motion.” They add that early treatment is “critical for minimizing patient disability and reducing the risk of documented complications, particularly posttraumatic arthritis.”
The tibial plateau “is one of the most critical loadbearing areas in the human body” and is located at the upper end of the shin bone (the femur).
