Karrueche Tran appears to confirm Deion Sanders dating rumors

Karrueche Tran couldn’t help but smile while discussing her personal life amid rumors that she and Deion Sanders are dating.

During a recent appearance on the “What’s Next with J. Ryan” podcast the “Claws” actress gushed that she’s “having fun” dating after she appeared in a video last month crying at Sanders’ hospital bedside before the Colorado coach’s bladder removal surgery.

“Is she dating right now?” Ryan asked of Tran, adding, “I saw that you took a liking into football recently.”

A smirking Tran said, “Oh, he took it there!” as her best friend, fellow actress, Christina Milian, who also appeared on the podcast, added, “Hey girl! Touchdown!”

Tran, 37, took a pause and said, “Yeah, I’m dating.”

“If I wasn’t having fun, I wouldn’t be in it,” she explained. “I’m at a point in my life, like, I know what I want. I’ve dated a lot. I’ve done a lot. I’ve did this, did that. Young, old. And, so, if I wasn’t happy and content, and feeling good in my situation, I’m not wasting my time.

“I don’t have the time for it. I rather be at home, namaste, child, in bed at 9 o’clock doing my own thing if I’m not happy. So, yeah, I’m in a good place.”

Tran added, “I’m getting older, so I’m ready to slow down and look for something real.”

Sanders’ name was not mentioned in the conversation.

The pair were first linked in July when Tran was seen crying at Sanders’ bedside before the 58-year-old coach underwent surgery to remove his bladder after doctors found a cancerous tumor in May, as seen in footage shared on his son’s YouTube channel.

Tran held Sanders’ hand as he was escorted on a gurney to the operating room.

During the podcast conversation, Tran was candid about what she considers “turnoffs” in a relationship.

“Anyone who’s controlling … anybody who’s jealous or doesn’t want me to kind of blossom or do my own thing — or if it’s always a problem if I’m going to do yoga or going to hanging with out friends,” Tran said. “That type of stuff gives me anxiety and I need peace and I need respect and trust.

“Turn ons: Somebody to make me laugh and somebody who wants to just like take care of me … someone who is a man … thoughtful, I love a romantic little date, or adventure too. It could be high scale or low scale … I just like experience and fun and memories and I like affection.”

Sanders has remained quiet about his personal life.

The coach dodged a question about rumors that he and Tran are dating during an appearance on the “Say What Needs To Be Said” podcast earlier this month.

The Hall of Famer and his long-time fiancée, TV producer Tracey Edmonds, split after 12 years together in December 2023.

Sanders, who took time away from the team in the spring for an unspecified health issue, revealed he is cancer-free since the bladder removal surgery.
