Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa Headline 2025 USA Ryder Cup Captain’s Picks

The United States Ryder Cup team roster has been made official, as team captain Keegan Bradley made his six captain’s picks on Wednesday.

Bradley named Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, Ben Griffin, Cameron Young, Patrick Cantlay and Sam Burns as the final members of the Ryder Cup team.

They are joining Scottie Scheffler, J.J. Spaun, Xander Schauffele, Russell Henley, Harris English and Bryson DeChambeau, each of whom qualified for the team on points.

Per DraftKings Sportsbook, the U.S. team is a -145 favorite to win the Ryder Cup, while Europe is a +150 underdog. The odds of the Ryder Cup ending in a tie are +1000.

Bradley had the opportunity to name himself to the team, which would’ve made him the first Ryder Cup playing captain since Arnold Palmer in 1963, per ESPN. He finished 11th in the U.S. Ryder Cup standings this season and won two tournaments in the last 13 months.

Bradley admitted that it wasn’t an easy decision to remain on the sidelines for this year’s Ryder Cup, which begins next month at Bethpage Black on Long Island.

“I grew up wanting to play Ryder Cups. I wanted to fight alongside these guys. It broke my heart not to play, it really did,” Bradley said. “But I was chosen to be the captain of this team. And my ultimate goal is to be the best captain I can be. This is how I think I can do that. I was always going to do what was best for this team, even if that meant playing. I would have done it. But these guys played incredibly coming down the stretch. And they made my decision easier.”

Team USA and Europe have split each of the last four Ryder Cups 2-2, with Europe most recently coming out on top in 2023.

European captain Luke Donald is set to announce his six captain’s picks on Monday. Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, Robert MacIntyre, Rasmus Højgaard and Tyrrell Hatton have already qualified for the team.
