John and Clair of “Farmer Wants a Wife” are no longer a couple, just months after the season finale.
John Sansone confirmed Saturday the break-up in an Instagram post, explaining that the breakup “was a mutual decision based on private challenges.”
“While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it’s best to move forward separately,” Sansone posted.
“While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible. Thank you for your kindness and support.”
Claire shared John’s statement to her Instagram Stories, writing, “I ain’t reading all that but ditto.”
The news comes after the season 3 finale in May in which John picked Claire over Lily.
“Claire and I got along on a more surface level,” John told Taste of Country after the finale. “She and I made each other laugh a lot, just generally had a good time together.”
