John Cena and Logan Paul will go one-on-one on Aug. 31 at WWE Clash in Paris. On tonight’s (Aug. 22) episode of SmackDown in Dublin, Ireland, they had a promo battle in the ring to hype up the big fight.
It started out well enough with massive boos for the YouTube douchebag, who told the Irish fans that it’s great to be back in England. Paul denied the claim that he’s an outsider in the wrestling business, and described John as a corporate pawn.
But Cena expertly tore him to shreds on the mic after that, calling Paul out for his legal troubles, for being a disappointment, for being a parasite who uses WWE to push his shitty Prime energy drink, and for wasting Cena’s time when he could instead be having legendary matches with stars like AJ Styles at the end of his career.
Cena was on fire and made it clear that he’s gonna beat the shit out of the YouTuber when they clash in Paris.
John’s verbal message didn’t quite get through to Logan’s thick skull, but maybe the Attitude Adjustment he delivered at the end of the segment did.
