Joan García underwent surgery this Saturday on a torn medial meniscus in his left knee. Dr Joan Carles Monllau performed an arthroscopy at the Hospital de Barcelona, and it has been confirmed that his recovery time will be between 4 and 6 weeks, depending on how he progresses.
García has played seven matches this season, conceding five goals so far. In those games, he has kept three clean sheets (against Mallorca, Valencia and Getafe).
