Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have also sung each other’s praises throughout the duration of what could have been a potentially awkward press tour, considering they signed on for the film while they were still together and made it post-split.
“The film wouldn’t have been made if it wasn’t for [Affleck] and Artists’ Equity,” Lopez told CBS News last week. “He helped make it happen.”
In an interview with Extra on the red carpet, Affleck called Lopez’s performance “amazing,” adding, “I just can’t wait for you, the audience, to see the movie. I’m as proud of this movie as any that I’ve ever been involved with. I’m really excited to be here tonight.”
