Jenna Ortega Pairs Bleached Brows With Longest Hair in Years

  • Jenna Ortega arrived at the season 2 premiere of Wednesday looking nearly unrecognizable.
  • The actress, who stars in the hit Netflix show, showed off her freshly bleached brows and super long brown hair tied into a knotted low ponytail.
  • Her sheer embossed dress looked like a snake’s literal shedded skin.

Jenna Ortega is slithering into the new season of Wednesday with a wickedly good and on-theme gothcore look. On Wednesday (Fitting!), the star of the hit Netflix series arrived at the season 2 premiere in London looking nearly unrecognizable. Both the actress and her character, Wednesday Addams, have become synonymous with the dark academia aesthetic, and Ortega took her grungy style to the next level with bleached brows, long dark hair, and a sheer dress that looked eerily similar to a snake shedding it’s skin.

The see-through latex Ashi Studio gown from the FW25 collection appeared slimy and clung to her body with a structured peplum waist with a jellyfish-style ruffled edge made to look like the reptile’s ripped exterior. The A-line skirt of the dress was fitted through her legs and flowed into a train with the same fringed hem.

If it weren’t for the dress’s peculiar style, her glam would have completely stolen the show. Ortega rocked fully bleached—borderline white—brows which were a stark contrast to her dark brown hair. Her middle-parted locks were the longest they had been in years, reaching down to her mid-back, and were tied in a low and loose ponytail with a knotted detail at her shoulders.

Her maroon lipstick popped against her porcelain complexion and complemented her smoky eyeliner and fuchsia shadow that ringed her eyes. She finished off the makeup look with a Corpse Bride contour that defined her cheek bones.

During the red carpet, Ortega posed along her co-stars including Joy Sunday and Emma Myers who punctuated the lead’s look with crimson red ensembles. Catherine Zeta-Jones, who plays Wednesday’s mother Morticia, also dressed on theme in a black gown with a pussy-bow collar and a keyhole cutout.

Part one of the series’s highly-anticipated season 2 drops on Netflix on August 6 after nearly three years since the premiere of season 1. Part two will hit the streaming platform on September 3.
